2days3nights learning trip to Penang and Perak

We will depart from Inti UC on 18/7/09 at 12.00 a.m and before it we will having a supper together at 11.00p.m in bakery which locate beside the INTI cyber cafe.
The travel fee is RM90 per person. It will include the accomodation fee in Penang(3 person as per room),transportation fee(INTI bus) and war museum entry fee(Penang)
1st day
We will glad to thanks Cheng Aun to help us get the oppurtunity to visit his father's construction site in Penang. From this trip, we got chance to see the building structure of the residence, know how the worker construct the footing, ground beams, brickwall, formwork, floor slab and oversee the construction progress.

After that we will visit to Penang War Museum. The Penang War Museum vividly depicts the saga of tragedy and distress that engulfed Malaysia during the Second World War. Penang War Museum is located at the fort in Bukit Maung and this fort was constructed in 1930 to protect the island of Penang from the enemy. The Penang War Museum is planning to host exhibitions and information on naval warfare in the near future.

At night, we will go to beautiful beach and having ours delicious dinner in there. We will also have a BBQ activity in condominium there during night.

2nd Day

We will depart from Penang to Ipoh after having ours breakfast. We can observe the style of building in Ipoh and experience it’s cultural. Ipoh City is the home to many a miner who has made a fortune during the heydays of tin. Instead, it has grown with the country's economy. Bearing a close resemblance to its Kuala Lumpur counterpart, the Ipoh Railway Station is an impressive landmark, which combines Gothic and Moorish architecture with modern embellishments. Surrounded by a beautiful floral garden, it also serves as a charming welcome to visitors arriving by rail.

Opposite the railway station is a neocolonial style building. Adjacent to that is the Ipoh Clock Tower, which was erected in 1917 as a memorial to J.W.W. Birch, the first British Resident of the state who was assassinated by a group of Malay chieftains in Pasir Salak in 1875. Ironically, there is another memorial built on the very spot where Birch was assassinated, but this one is dedicated to the Malay warriors who murdered him.
Approximate at 7p.m, we will finish this 2day 3 nights trip and back to Inti. We hope u alls can catch up this precious oppurtunity and contact Kwang Peng (016-7844094) who in charge this learning trips after know this trips or see this post. We appreciate to meet u there (>.<)
